The Dreams Come True Charity Auction has finally ended raising an awesome £10,000 for the charity. Organised by Cash Converters, all items for sale on the site were donated, and all proceeds went to the charity. the auction saw a huge number of visitors driven from the TV ad, which featured footballer Matt le Tissier.

The auction featured some great collectable items, including signed football shirts from Maradona, Theo Walcott, Wayne Rooney, Matt le Tissier, Michael Essien, Craig Bellamy and Scolari as well as signed discs from U2 and Kylie Minogue.

We’re pleased to announce the launch of ourwebsite for the new BBC3 comedy Clone, starring Jonathan Pryce, Mark Gatiss and Stuart McLoughlin. The first episode is broadcast on the 17th November at 8:30, BBC3.

Clone is a 6 part comedy written by Adam Chase (Friends) and produced by Ash Attala (The Office, The IT Crowd). It stars Jonathon Price as Dr. Victor Blenkinsop, a brilliant government scientist, who unveils the first human clone.  Intended to be a prototype super soldier, the experiment goes horribly wrong. In an attempt to redeem himself, the doctor escapes with his creation vowing to fix him before the government finds them and kills them.

Roughcut TV is the new comedy production company from Ash Attalla. Ash Atalla set up the new independent production company Roughcut Television in January 2007 with Company Manager Vanessa Lee. They were joined by Head of Production Tim Sealey.

Ash Atalla is best known for producing the hugely successful comedy series The Office. He joined talkbackTHAMES as Head of Comedy in 2004 where he produced two series of The IT Crowd and two series of Man Stroke Woman. He also Exec produced Look Around You and the third series of Bo Selecta.

We visited the excellent Bloomsbury Lanes for our staff meeting this month. A great time was had by all, particularly Todd ‘I ain’t never bowled before’ Moore, who thrashed us all with strike after strike. What a hustler!
